Styling and Communication of Gloomlight collection by Gloria Volpi.

The starting point of the collection is the city of Babylon and its historical objects, in which the designer finds a resemblance with the current reality of a troubled country, Iraq. The designer tries to represent her own vision of the woman, as a pure and radiant being, in contrast with the idea of women in that territory.
We can find this specific idea of women in the works of three female artists: Shirin Neshat (Iranian), Naiza Khan (Iranian) and Monia Merlo (Italian).
